Zahiri gives us the first 2018 victory

Abderrahim Zahiri signed today the first win of the year for Team Trevigiani Phonix Hemus 1896. In the national race Khenifra M’rirt the Under 23 Moroccan national champion won the race reserved to his category and placed third in the Open one won by Anass Ait El Abdia of UAE Team Emirates.
The 22-years-old from Mirt has put forward his climbing skills in the 170 kmscheduled with 1,467 meters of total height, beating his peers Koraji Mohsine (UCI Sidi Ali) and Achraf Kech (Kawkab Marakeche).
«I am happy to have been able to cross the finish line with my arms pointing to the sky. I’m sure my teammates will now do the same in Europe too. With the team staff we are working well, the results will come as a consequence» he commented.
Until March 14th, the rest of the team will be in Teramo at Casa Delfico for the training camp to prepare at best the home race, Popolarissima, scheduled for Sunday, March 18th, in Treviso.
